The Green Justice Blog

2010 will be a very big year for the Green Justice Coalition and Community Labor United. Together we plan to launch five community-based energy efficiency pilots across Massachusetts; release a major report on good jobs in the rapidly growing home weatherization industry; make sure community residents get those jobs... and much more.

We're also launching this new blog so we can learn as we go forward. Please join us. Send in your personal experiences, your strategy ideas, inspiring examples from other places. We want to discuss

  • Our neighborhoods' needs
  • Jobs that support families
  • Environmental justice from Copenhagen to Chelsea
  • Ways to create sustainable communities
  • and other topics you create.

Discussion is crucial. If we can learn from what we're doing, and bring in experiences from climate justice activists around the world, we can bring energy efficiency and good green jobs to low-income communities and communities of color across the state.
